3 Easter Cookie Packaging Ideas Your Customers Will Love

3 Easter Cookie Packaging Ideas Your Customers Will Love
Are you ready for Easter cookie sales?
Easter is one of the top five cookie holidays. This year, the holiday will be celebrated later in spring—Sunday, April 20. While that may seem far off, now is the time to plan your products and packaging to ensure you make the most of this sweet spring holiday!
I know you're always creating irresistibly cute cookies for your customers. But to stand out among all the other sweets, treats, and goodies this spring, I’m challenging you to think about how your cookies can solve their problems.
I know, I know—it may seem a little bit much to think about solving problems with cookies, but a desire to solve a problem is really what's at the heart of why people buy any good product or service.
In this post, I'm sharing three product ideas that will make your customers' lives easier—and tastier—this Easter season and the packaging you need to make it happen.
Idea #1: Help Them Fill Those Easter Baskets
Filling baskets is probably the most obvious reason for your customers to purchase Easter cookies, but you can still make those treats extra special with adorable packaging.
We always have a wide variety of holiday greaseproof backers to choose from and tall sleeves of cookies make excellent basket stuffers. I'm also excited to share two new packaging options debuting this spring - our new Bunny Bites pouch and our 3 new cookie greeting cards!
Small Easter Stand-Up Pouch - "Bunny Bites"
Our Bunny Bait stand-up cookie pouch was so popular that I created a new smaller pouch perfect for basket-stuffer treats - "Bunny Bites"! This smaller sized pouch is perfect for up to 5 mini (2") cookies or 1-2 larger cookies. You can make pretty simply decorated carrot cookies, OR just flood them orange and add sprinkles for a "frosted cookie" type of look which is even easier! They are both so cute!
Easter Cookie Greeting Cards
I also love these cookie greeting cards as basket stuffers or Easter cards to give to kids or grandkids. They elevate a single decorated cookie to make it feel like a more complete gift, all while showcasing your design. This year I couldn’t help myself and I designed 3 brand new cookie greeting cards for Easter. My favorite is the Ducky card. It’s got a little joke on it and I just think the littles will love this one!
I also designed a coordinating cookie cutter to match each greeting card to take the guess work out of it for you. No more wondering what size cookie will fit!
Idea #2: Give Them the Perfect Kids Table Activity
Full-scale Easter cookie decorating kits are always fun but often too involved and messy to tackle on Easter day. Paint-Your-Own (PYO) cookies, on the other hand, are the ideal solution!
PYO cookies offer an engaging activity that's easy to contain and works for kids of all ages (and adults, too!).
Imagine the photo ops and memory-making when you gather a tableful of cousins to paint delicious cookies. Miss Cookie Packaging has everything you need to make this a reality for your customers!
PYO Paint Palette & Brush Sets
Gone are the days of buying three different items and spending hours just to assemble your paint palettes and brushes. We offer a 12-pack of rainbow paint palettes pre-packaged with paintbrushes and sealed in clear food-safe bags. Our rainbow palettes cover all the necessary colors and are great for year round use no matter the holiday or occasion!
Easter Foldover Topper Backers
Designed to make every bunny smile, these fold over topper backers attach to your heat-sealed individual cookies and PYO Paint Palette and Brush Sets for easy, adorable packaging.
Egg Carton Packaging
Our clear, snap-closure cartons are the ideal solution if you're offering larger sets of PYO cookies. These duck egg cartons are extra tall and wide to ensure they fit six heat-sealed mini cookies and close securely. Pair them with instruction stickers like these and a set of PYO Paint Palette and Brush Sets, and give your customers the kids' table answer they didn't realize they needed.
And to make it even easier for you (notice a pattern here?) we've put together PYO Egg bundles at a discount which you can find HERE!
Idea #3: Equip Them With a Memorable Hostess Gift
Guests never want to show up to Easter dinner empty-handed. While the standard offering of wine is always appreciated, it’s time to think outside the bottle!
Our Easter Basket packaging is oh-so-adorable and makes a delightfully unexpected hostess gift once filled with your treats. These full-color baskets are printed front and back and fit decorated cookies, drop cookies, macarons, decorating kits, and more.
Just heat-seal your treats in clear poly bags, fill your assembled basket, and add an adorable gift tag like this Hospitality tag or our Super cute Teacher Appreciation tag. Your customers will have a beautiful, thoughtful, and delicious way to show appreciation this Easter season.
