The Ultimate Guide to Easter Cookie Packaging
4The newest Easter ideas to keep your lineup fresh
With Valentine’s Day behind us, Easter already feels right around the corner. If hopping (pun intended) straight into samples and pre-sales without time for market research feels overwhelming, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. And be sure to read all the way to the end for a special discount code!
This year’s collection blends timeless Easter traditions with fresh, modern ideas. From classic packaging and cutters that customers know and love, to unique statement pieces like our bouquet boxes and trend-driven surprise boxes, there’s something for every style of baker.
The Blind Box Trend
Blind boxes are everywhere right now, from toys to keychains, and kids seriously cannot get enough of them. The surprise factor is a huge part of the appeal, which makes this trend surprisingly perfect for cookies.
Our Springtime Cuties Surprise Boxes bring that same collectible magic into the cookie world. They’re adorable for Easter baskets… but here’s the sneaky bonus: they don’t actually say “Easter,” which means you can sell them all season long!
Each box includes a playful disclaimer on the back:
“Character outfits may vary — depending on their mood!”
That little detail gives you total creative freedom to decorate however you’d like, while still keeping the blind box experience fun and authentic.
To really lean into the collectible feel, we also offer coordinating character cards as digital downloads. You can print exactly what you need, and for the best results we recommend using a local print shop or print-on-demand service like Staples or printing them on cardstock at home. A simple paper trimmer (Fiskars makes great ones) makes it easy to get clean, professional cuts at home. These little cards add so much perceived value; kids can keep them, trade them, and collect their favorites, which makes your cookies feel more like a full experience rather than just a treat.
And if you’re not planning to offer blind boxes but fell in love with one of the Springtime Cuties, you’ve still got plenty of options. The matching cutters are available as a full set or individually, and you can grab them as physical cutters, STLs for home printing, or even Eddie edible images for super easy decorating. Whether you go all-in on the blind box trend or just want a few standout spring designs, it’s an easy way to tap into one of the hottest trends this season while creating something kids will be obsessed with.

If you were around for Valentine’s Day, you probably remember how fast our bouquet boxes sold out, and we’re so excited to have them back in stock just in time for Easter. These were such a standout hit, and they’re perfect for creating those eye-catching, premium sets that customers instantly gravitate toward. We’ve also released brand new Easter tags designed to pair beautifully with the boxes, take a look at what's new:
One of our favorite things about bouquet boxes is how versatile they are. You can absolutely repurpose your rose cutters from Valentine’s Day and switch up the colors for spring; think soft pastels, butter yellow, lavender, peach, and robin’s egg blue for a fresh Easter feel. Or, if you want to lean fully into the season, our lily, daisy, and tulip cutters (also available as STLs) make stunning springtime bouquets.
For an extra charming finish, you can wrap the box with our new roll of twine and tie a soft, vintage-style bow for that boutique look.
They also make an adorable DIY option, try building a “decorate your own bouquet” set with egg cookies on sticks, or a mix of florals and easy mini shapes for a fun Easter activity.
And don’t feel limited to just cookies either! Bouquet boxes work beautifully for cake pops, pretzel rods, brownie bites on sticks, or even rice krispie treats, making them a great option if you like offering a variety of treats.
In the photo below, we used Daisy Makes poppers and sticks to bring this bouquet to life.
You Asked, We Listened: Our New Backer Bundles
When we started our Facebook group, one of the first things we asked was what people struggle with most when it comes to packaging, and the overwhelming answer was sizing. So many bakers said they weren’t sure which bags fit which backers, or how to pair everything together without a lot of trial and error. That feedback really stuck with us, and while we’re continuing to revamp our website to take more of the guesswork out, we wanted to create something that could help right now.
That’s exactly why we rolled out our Easter Tall Backer Bundle. We pulled all of our Easter tall greaseproof backers into one place so you can choose your favorite design and bundle it with the correctly sized bags and a matching tag in one easy click. No guessing, no mismatched sizing, just a streamlined way to build a set. You can also optionally add bows, toppers, clear boxes, and stretch loops to fully customize your bundle, and you’ll save 10% when you bundle everything together.
These bundles pair perfectly with our set of 12 mini Easter cookie cutters, which were designed with tall backers in mind. You can grab the full set or purchase them individually, and they’re also available as STLs if you prefer to print your own. Pick a favorite or mix and match to build adorable Easter basket sets that feel cohesive without a ton of planning.
And while you’re thinking ahead, don’t forget St. Patrick’s Day is coming up fast too! We created a version of St. Patrick's Day Bundle as well so you can stay ahead without getting overwhelmed. If you’re looking for ideas, we also put together a full St. Patrick’s Day inspiration blog to help spark some fun set ideas and make planning even easier.
A Little Love for Cake Pops
Lately we’ve found ourselves falling in love with cake pops, and one thing we kept noticing is how few cute presentation options there are compared to cookies. So we wanted to show the cake pop world a little packaging love. We took three of our bestselling die-cut Easter cards from last year and reimagined them as cake pop cards for a fresh, fun way to display your treats.
Each card features two built-in tabs with pre-drilled holes, so you can easily slide the cake pop stick in and out for a secure (and super cute) presentation. It’s such a simple upgrade, but it instantly makes cake pops feel more unique and perfect for Easter baskets.
To keep them fresh, you can pair the cards with our heat-seal or self-seal bags and finish them off with one of our twist ties for a clean look. We’re genuinely so excited about these and can’t wait to see how you all style them this season!
New Tags & Toppers Just Dropped
We also added a whole wave of new tags and toppers this season, 12 brand new tags and 4 new toppers to be exact. These were designed to mix and match easily with our existing Easter packaging.
All of the toppers are 4" x 4" flat and fold down to 2" x 4", making them a super simple and polished way to package a single cookie. They’re perfect for custom orders that need individual packaging or clean displays at markets and pop-ups where you want something cute but low-effort.
The new tags are just as versatile and pair beautifully with our existing Easter backers, bouquet boxes, and bakery boxes. Whether you’re building full sets or just adding a seasonal touch to your staples, these are an easy way to make everything feel cohesive and spring-ready.
Timeless Easter Packaging, Made for Memories
Some of our most-loved Easter staples are back this year, and that includes a mix of tried-and-true favorites along with newer classics that have quickly earned a permanent spot in Easter lineups, like our bento boxes. If you love a clean, polished presentation, these are such a perfect option for spring sets. All 12 of our new Easter mini cookies fit beautifully into the divided cavities, and the large clear window makes them a real scroll-stopper in preorder photos. They’re also surprisingly versatile, any ~2" treat works here. We tried them with chocolate-dipped Oreos and the result was honestly jaw-dropping. Add a ribbon for a soft finish, or use stretch loops or twine with one of our printed tags to give it that boutique feel.
Right beside them are our returning bakery boxes, which continue to be some of the most versatile packaging we offer. Alongside our classic plain white bakery boxes, we also have four beautiful patterned options available in both large and small sizes.
Our small bakery boxes are perfect for about a half dozen minis or two full-sized cookies, making them a great option for custom orders and smaller sets. The large boxes are ideal for bigger custom orders, but they really shine when it comes to DIY kits. They have plenty of room for sprinkles, icing bags, and full-sized cookies, and we even offer a print-at-home DIY instruction card you can slide right onto or inside the box to create a complete Easter activity kit.
Speaking of DIY, we had to bring back one of our favorite nostalgic ideas, our DIY cookie egg kit. Some of my favorite Easter memories are sitting at a folding table in the kitchen while my grandmother cooked, with little plastic cups of dye spread out in front of me. I loved seeing all the eggs finished at the end, it’s such a timeless tradition. But if we’re being honest… it’s not always the most fun in practice. The dye stains everything, little hands aren’t exactly precise, eggs take forever to dry, and when it’s all over you’re left with a bunch of hardboiled eggs that most kids don’t even want to eat. They just sit there until the inevitable sulfur smell takes over.
So we gave the tradition a makeover. Our DIY egg carton is designed to snugly hold six mini egg cookies that you simply flood, let dry, and package. Low mess, and way more appealing as a treat. We offer the egg carton, matching mini cutter, paint palettes, and PYO instruction stickers individually, or you can grab everything in a bundle and save 15%. You can even add edible markers so kids can draw on the cookies before or after painting, making it a super low-effort option for you with high shelf appeal for Easter preorders and markets.
Since we're talking about nostalgic Easter traditions, what's more nostalgic than an Easter basket?
Our mini Easter cookie baskets are such a fun option when a full-sized basket feels like too much, think classroom gifts or family gatherings where you still want that classic Easter feel. Because let’s be honest… skipping a basket altogether just feels wrong this time of year. These are perfectly sized for smaller, giftable sets, with a compact footprint (about 4.5" long by 2.5–2.75" wide and just over 2.5" deep) that makes them easy to fill without feeling oversized.
You can add a bit of paper shred or tissue filler to give them a fuller, more finished look, and they’re especially great for single-cookie gifts. A large DIY egg cookie with a small icing bag (or two) and a sprinkle pack instantly creates a full-looking basket while still being simple to prep.
These baskets also work beautifully for single statement cookies, a few individually bagged minis, or one of our personal favorites: Easter tic-tac-toe. We offer the matching cutters (bunny heads and carrots instead of Xs and Os) along with a coordinating topper/backer if you want to turn it into a complete little activity set.
You can also dress them up with a gift tag so customers can easily write in names, making these a simple but really charming presentation that feels special.
What’s Around the Corner
We couldn’t wrap this up without sharing a little peek at what’s coming next. We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, and a couple of exciting new product categories are officially on the way in the coming weeks, and trust us, you’re going to want to be subscribed to our newsletter so you don’t miss the drop.
One of the biggest “you asked, we listened” moments is our brand new made-in-house PYO stencils. From design to production, these are created entirely in-house, which means we have way more flexibility to bring your ideas to life. If there are stencil designs you’ve been wishing existed, this is your chance, we’d love for you to join our Facebook group and pitch your ideas. We’re genuinely so excited to open up this new category and start building something even more collaborative with the community.
We’re also introducing something that’s been one of the most requested additions from our Facebook group intake questions: greaseproof papers. And not just for cookiers, for bakers of all kinds. You’ve told us you want cute, food-safe patterned papers that actually work for packaging and presentation, and we’re so excited to finally bring them to life. These will come as 8" x 8" precut sheets that work for almost anything. Use them to line bakery boxes, add fullness to bouquet boxes, wrap cookies or brownies, layer into treat boxes, or even line bread baskets and pastry boxes for a polished, bakery-style presentation.
These papers aren’t available just yet, but you can use the links below to join the waitlist and be notified the moment they launch.
